How long will it be until I receive my order?
This is a difficult question to answer accurately, because we are a small custom order shop, and things change around here constantly! Generally we try to deliver merchandise in about 6 weeks. Sometimes it takes a little less time, and sometimes we get very, very busy and it takes longer (up to 12 weeks). If the delivery time is very long, we will always tell you that when you place the order. Rush status is available for an additional charge, and generally allows us to cut delivery time in half or less. We try very hard to accommodate special deadlines such as special horse shows, birthdays, or other occasions whenever possible.
Why does it take so long for my merchandise to arrive?
We make each and every item from scratch, starting with a bolt of fabric, to each customer’s specifications. Each order is cut by hand, and sewn with single needle stitching, then each item is monogrammed one at a time. This attention to quality and detail takes time. Try to be patient, because your new products will be worth the wait, and will last you a very long time.
I run a horse show, do you make horse show awards?
Yes, we make award coolers for some of the most prestigious horse shows in the country, including Devon, The National Horse Show, Pennsylvania National Horse Show, The Cosequin Winter Equestrian Festival, and many others. We would love to talk to you about options for your horse show.
I own a tack shop, do you sell wholesale to dealers?
Yes, we offer some incentive to dealers, please call or email for details.
Do I have to measure my own horse or can I use a stock size?
It is your choice whether to measure, or to just order a traditional blanket size. Generally horses do fine in stock sizes, but some have trouble with their shoulders getting rubbed or their withers getting sore. These horses often do better in a custom sized sheet. Also, custom measurements are seldom necessary for items that only go on the horse to go to the ring, such as wool dress sheets.
How do I measure my horse or trunk?
See the “how to measure” section of this website for instructions and downloadable forms. We have measurements for trunks made by McGuinn Farms, Warner, Horsefare, and many others on file. However, we will make covers for any trunk.
What payment terms to you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, personal checks, or money orders. Generally if you give us a credit card we will not charge your card until your order is finished and ready to ship.
What happens if there is a problem with my items?
We want happy customers! If your items don’t fit or you are dissatisfied about something else, we will work with you to correct the problem. We provide a written copy of the work order to you before work begins for you to double check details and spelling. Once you approve that order, we will be responsible if we deviate from it without your approval.
Are there cleaning and repair services available?
We do NOT provide cleaning services, however we do provide repair services for our customers. We do not repair items made by other manufacturers unless it is for one of our customers. (i.e. if you have bought from us in the past, and need some repair work done on sheets bought elsewhere, we will be happy to repair them for you)
Do I need to do anything special to care for my items?
Most items have care tags on them with instructions for how to best clean them. If the item does not have a care tag, please call us with any questions.
Can I get fabric samples?
Yes. Simply email or call us and we will be happy to send any fabric and/or trim samples you would like to see. This is especially important with tackroom drapes. Wool plaid selection is constantly changing, so samples are often a requirement for those as well.
